Last night, I played a show in Centerville, GA. The city put on an Independence Day shindig - a perfect southern celebration, complete with Chick-fil-a, fireworks, and of course, a truck bed stage!
We had wonderful sound (a rare blessing!), and a great crowd.
It was also really, really, REALLY hot. Like, 98-degrees-and-sitting-on-an-asphault-parking-lot hot. I felt like I was swimming through a hot, wet cloud. Needless to say, I am VERY impressed by a wonderful crowd who stayed to listen through the heat.
I brought my fantastic new display sign, thanks to my crazy-talented friend Alyssa Butler, whom also designed my album.
My beautiful Nana came to watch the show as well, decked out in her patriotic best. She's always been snazzy.
Aw heck, she's so cute, my husband wanted a picture with her too!
I had a great time, and I'm so excited that they have asked me to come back next year! Yeehaw!
Here are a few more pictures from the show. Can't wait to come to middle GA again in September to play the Perry Music Festival!
